Job Title: Staff Specialist

We are seeking an experienced medical professional to fill the role of a Staff Specialist Haematologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and professional specialist services that are safe, effective, evidence based and patient centred.
  • Deliver consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as required by the organisation.
  • Contribute to education and research initiatives within the team.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RACP (Haematology) or overseas trained specialist pathways.
  • Evidence of recent experience in Clinical Haematology, demonstrating expertise in this area.
  • Evidence of ongoing medical professional development, including the ability to assist other staff in acquiring knowledge.
  • Evidence of strong communication skills, both oral and written, when interacting with patients, students, healthcare professionals and the public.
  • Evidence of collaboration and networking skills, with the ability to work within an interdisciplinary framework and with various stakeholders.
