About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead a collaborative and skilled team in maintaining safe, efficient, and effective electrical systems across our operations. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide strategic advice, develop and improve electrical systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical plant and equipment
  • Ensure the safe operation of electrical plant and equipment, and identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated with other operational systems
  • Investigate and report on electrical incidents and near-misses
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and supervision in a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Hold a relevant electrical trade qualification and/or degree
