At Southern Cross Care Queensland, we are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support services to our clients living in rural communities.
We have an exciting opportunity for Support Workers to join our Community Services Team, assisting our Aged Care Clients in the Tara, Miles, Jandowae, Chinchilla areas. This role involves providing domestic assistance and/or personal support services to enable our clients to maintain their independence at home and in the community.
About the Role- This is a casual and permanent position with flexible working hours and a variety of shifts available across a 14-day roster.
You will work closely with our Client Coordinators, forming part of a dedicated Care Team that promotes dignity and respect while delivering exceptional personal care and daily living assistance to our clients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. You will be required to demonstrate autonomy and time management skills, as you will be responsible for providing services to multiple clients daily.
Requirements- Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or equivalent (desirable)
- Australian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and current registration
Please note that all employment offers will be subject to a satisfactory NDIS workers screening and maintaining up-to-date flu vaccination status.
