
European Vehicle Mechanic Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of late-model European vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs on European vehicles.
- Diagnose complex faults using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Perform repairs and replacements on engine systems, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and air conditioning systems.
- Conduct performance upgrades and tuning, including suspension modifications, engine enhancements, and brake system upgrades.
- Undertake dismantling, inspection, and reassembly of major mechanical components.
- Complete maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and emission compliance procedures.
- Test and verify mechanical repairs and tuning outcomes through road testing and diagnostic recalibration.
- Record all work carried out using workshop software.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and clients regarding repair updates, technical issues, and service recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Experience with European vehicles is desirable but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
