Executive Leadership Opportunity

Central Gippsland Health is a major provider of health and aged care services, serving an immediate population of approximately 46,000 in Central Gippsland and reaching a wider community in East Gippsland and parts of South Gippsland.

We are seeking an Executive Leader to drive our high-performing health service forward, building on our strong focus on capacity building, access to core services, and partnerships.

The successful candidate will provide executive leadership, operational management, and direction towards achieving the organisation's vision, priorities, objectives, and strategic directions.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive excellence in patient care and outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Build and maintain key partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote the general health of the population through coordinated and integrated services.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in leading complex organisations, achieving key performance indicators, and budget targets.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and membership with a relevant professional association.
  • Extensive knowledge of current trends affecting public sector health in Victoria and Australia.
  • High-level relationship management skills and excellent understanding of clinical governance and risk management.
