This role is pivotal in classifying and managing Transgrid's data assets to align with business and regulatory requirements. You'll implement a comprehensive data governance strategy, lead data catalog enhancements, support data management initiatives, and drive efforts to improve data literacy across the organisation.

In this position, you'll oversee the end-to-end delivery of data governance initiatives, including data literacy and data loss prevention programs. You'll play a key role in managing data risks, particularly around data sharing and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in data governance principles, data quality, and compliance, with a deep understanding of data and information management within a governance framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing a comprehensive data governance strategy to align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading data catalog enhancements to improve data discovery and accessibility.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert in data governance principles, data quality, and compliance.
About You
  • 4+ years of experience working in a data governance or data management role.
  • Expertise in data governance principles, data quality, and compliance.
  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.
Salary and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary package ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on your skills and experience.
