Salary PackageWe offer a competitive salary package that includes:
- Above award hourly rates
- Salary packaging benefit up to $15,900 + $2,650 annually
- Annual Leave loading
This is a Registered Nurse Grade 5 Supervisor position, offering an exciting opportunity for a nurse with an aged care background. As a member of our team, you will provide person-centred care to our residents and leadership support to the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care and pain management. You will also be required to perform administrative tasks, including documentation and risk analysis.
You will work closely with Personal Care Workers and EN team members, providing leadership and supervision as needed. Additionally, you will participate in clinical handovers and promote a harmonious team approach.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1
- Experience as a Supervisor, registered nurse in residential aged care/home care (must have)
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
- Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on-the-spot problem-solving
- Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast-paced environment with exemplary communication skills
