Role Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our corporate service team as Patient Service Assistants. This role plays a key part in the day-to-day operations of our hotel services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing timely, hygienic, and high-quality food and cleaning services in accordance with agreed schedules and hospital procedures.
  • Assisting with general and/or specialised cleaning of areas and equipment.
  • Adhering to infection control procedures and Food Safety Standards.
  • Following daily work routines and schedules as directed by supervisors.
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to WHS and hospital protocols.
  • Actively participating in team meetings, mandatory training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Upholding SALHN values and maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and a patient-first mindset in all work.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility in work routines and a proactive approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and hygiene.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including manual handling.
  • Understanding of WHS and infection control principles.
  • Commitment to providing care with the same quality we would expect for our own family.
