About the Role

HammondCare is seeking a part-time Specialised Care Worker to provide support to our clients across various areas. As a Specialised Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Helping with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication management

Requirements

  • You must be able to relate to people and be patient and solutions-focused
  • You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or be looking to start your career in aged care
  • You must have a valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle
  • It is desirable to have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, but we can provide training if you are not currently qualified
  • You must be flexible and able to meet the changing needs of our clients
