Senior Government Projects Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our government projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stakeholders, coordinating resources, tracking progress, and performing other tasks required to deliver the project.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, produce regular reports, coordinate resources, track progress, and perform other tasks necessary for project completion.
- Develop and manage delivery plans and associated budgets in conjunction with business managers and directors.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including regular reports on resource allocation, utilisation, project status, and risks.
- Collaborate with business managers and directors to negotiate desired business outcomes.
- Manage suppliers and contractors as necessary to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Hold a strong educational background, preferably in computer science or engineering.
- Have experience in delivering projects using PMBoK or PRINCE2 methodologies.
- Possess skills in budget forecasting and management.
- Be able to travel interstate.
- Must hold Australian citizenship and possess Australian Defence baseline clearance.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.
This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
