Job Description:

The Finance Operations Business Partner will lead the integrated business planning processes for our Erskine Park manufacturing hub. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to partner with site management and other stakeholders to drive long-term profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support business growth and improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with site operations leadership to ensure delivery of functional commitments and achievement of AU business targets
  • Determine key cost drivers and measure performance against targets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Provide insightful commentary on financial performance and identify opportunities to drive EBIT improvement
  • Complete scenario modeling and work with site operations leadership to drive profit delivery initiatives
  • Perform product costing, utilisation analysis, and manufacturing reporting
  • Prepare financial forecasts and understand gaps to budget, including risks and opportunities
  • Provide business partnering support to Erskine Park operations hub managers and other functions
  • Create business case financials for site operations projects, ensuring key risks and alternatives are considered
  • Monitor performance on site operations projects against EBIT and Capex targets
  • Provide accurate conversion costs to commercial teams for new products and revised pricing plans
  • Review and maintain strong control environment, with documented controls and procedures in place

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified (commerce or finance)
  • CA/CPA or MBA qualification desired
  • 5+ years analytical business partnering experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and/or understanding of manufacturing environment essential
  • Sound understanding of management accounting in a manufacturing environment and issues affecting a manufacturing business
  • Cost and management accounting experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organisation and external parties
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong SAP experience, preferably as a super user or designing process solutions
