About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team at KinCare in the Plumpton area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their social connections.

Requirements
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • At least 6 months' experience in a similar role, including personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
