About Our Laboratory Role

Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing in a secure environment.
Execute routine procedures from specimen reception to result execution for pathological diagnosis, including specimen dissection.
Support stock control processes.
Maintain records and results in line with established protocols.
Operate equipment as per protocol and maintain current scientific knowledge.
Contribute to quality assurance activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assay development.
Train staff members.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding test results or referrals.

You will work across two laboratories, performing duties in a rotating roster that includes weekends and night shifts.

">About You">

Hold a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrate experience, knowledge, expertise and skills in a multidisciplinary laboratory setting, including biochemistry, haematology and blood bank.
Show proficiency in QC, QAP and troubleshooting practices.
Have the ability to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Display an exceptional commitment to quality and excellence.
Acknowledge and adhere to organisational policies and procedures.
Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Cope well in a busy environment.
Show initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
Pay attention to detail and accuracy.
