This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Centre Manager to join our Real Estate Management Services team at Colliers International, who are driven to maximise the performance of our client's assets by providing an integrated solution that seamlessly connects leasing, marketing, centre management and facilities management all through one point of contact.

Based at a landmark mixed-use retail and hospitality precinct, and reporting to the Portfolio Director, this key role will be responsible for effectively managing and maximising the performance of this asset. The main responsibilities of this role include:

Main Responsibilities
  • Asset Presentation and Maintenance: Overseeing the presentation, maintenance of the asset, compliance and ensuring a high standard of presentation at all times.
  • Client and Tenant Liaison: Maintaining close liaisons with the owners and tenants and fostering effective working relationships.
  • Leasing and Marketing: Driving the leasing of the Centre through working closely with the Colliers leasing executives to canvass new retailers in the local market and achieving and maintaining a zero-vacancy level.
  • Financial Management: Proactively managing the income and expenditure, as well as the financial reporting requirements for the client.
  • Tenancy Fit Outs: Supervision of tenancy fit outs to ensure consistency and compliance with buildings objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Compiling and implementing the asset's strategic plan and marketing strategy.
  • Communication and Advice: Communicating frequently with the owner and all tenants and provide timely relevant and professional advice to the owners in all aspects of the management of the property.
Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in a Centre Management role, highlighting your ability to ensure the performance of the asset is maximised, across both the operational and commercial aspects. An understanding of the unique place this asset occupies within the retail property sector, an enthusiastic mindset, entrepreneurial flare and attention to detail is essential. Your strong financial experience and sound knowledge of relevant legislation will be evident, as will your ability to prioritise to ensure business objectives are achieved. This is a highly visible role to the senior leadership team and therefore your ability to communicate effectively and build positive and productive working relationships is key, as is your desire to work in a highly team orientated environment.
