Instrumental Music Tutor Opportunity

 

Unity College is a vibrant and unique P-12 educational institution in the Catholic and Uniting Church traditions, located in Caloundra. Our college aims to provide a welcoming and supportive community where people respect themselves, each other, and the environment.

 

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Instrumental Music Tutor specialising in Woodwind to foster and develop our Instrumental Music Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching beginner students in our Instrumental Music Immersion Program and private Instrumental Program.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Teaching beginner students in our Instrumental Music Immersion Program

- Teaching students in the private Instrumental Program

- Engaging fully in the life of the school beyond the music program

- Leading instrumental ensembles

- Collaborating and working productively with colleagues

 

Requirements:

- Holding a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement

- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment

- Commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education

 

Working Conditions:

- School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

- Thursday for immersion, negotiable for lessons

- $61.81/hour plus super
