We are seeking skilled professionals to join our mining team as Blast Crew Members. The selected candidates will be based out of Clermont and work across various sites within the Bowen Basin.

Blast Crew members will be responsible for safely preparing and detonating explosives, loading and stemming blast patterns, and working with the team to meet daily operational targets.

1. Ensure safe handling and storage of explosives in accordance with statutory and company requirements.
2. Operate ancillary equipment such as stemming loaders.
3. Collaborate with the blast team to achieve daily objectives.

• Previous experience in Coal or Quarries as a Blast Crew or Bench Hand.
• Standard 11 certification or willingness to obtain one.
• QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in an open-cut mining environment.
• RIIBLA201E - Support Shotfiring Operations (desirable).
• Strong team attitude, communication skills, and commitment to safety.
• Good physical health and fitness.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks including medicals and national background checks.
