We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Professional to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity for you to bridge the gap between customers and delivery teams, ensuring that cloud solutions are technically robust and deliver real business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Design comprehensive cloud solutions that provide tangible value to customers while ensuring sustainability and relevance in rapidly evolving markets.
- Develop detailed technical designs that support customer innovation by improving operational efficiency and enabling new capabilities.
- Leverage existing consultancy offerings and delivery methodologies with a focus on repeatability to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes.
- Drive the technical qualification, scoping, estimation, design, and architecture of both new and existing projects in close partnership with sales and delivery teams.
- Engage as a trusted advisor within key customer accounts by understanding their business needs and advocating for them internally.
- Build strong relationships with customer contacts, acting as an escalation point when necessary to ensure satisfaction and positive outcomes.
- Mentor team members by sharing best practices, setting clear expectations, and fostering technical skill development across the consulting community.
- Collaborate closely with the wider Product & Technology team to develop and implement technology roadmaps aligned with organisational goals.
- Champion ways of working that promote cohesion, collaboration, and improved customer outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
- At least 2-3 years' experience as an AWS or Azure Consultant focused on migration and transformation initiatives within hybrid cloud environments.
- Proven background in customer-facing consulting or consultative pre-sales roles where you have demonstrated strong technical presence and interpersonal skills.
- Experience translating complex business challenges into suitable technical solutions that align with client objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels including senior business leaders and technical personnel.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud-native architectures such as public cloud PaaS/IaaS platforms, REST APIs, microservices architectures, serverless technologies, open source platforms, and their application in solving business problems.
- Familiarity with software development environments as well as previous work for Managed Services Providers or System Integrators servicing multiple clients.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills including proven document/report writing ability; skilled at diagrammatically representing processes and work-flows for diverse audiences.
- Subject Matter Expertise in AWS (and/or Azure) supported by relevant professional certifications such as AWS Solution Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, DevOps concepts, SDLC processes along with practical experience implementing these methodologies.
- Working knowledge of ICT systems including private/public cloud infrastructure, databases, applications, networking (Windows/Linux), demonstrating how these components inter-relate.
