About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team at Oxley State School Helping Hands service. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 10 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) across split shifts to support the service's operating hours.

As a Childcare Educator, you'll work closely with our Coordinator and team of skilled Educators to facilitate engaging child-centered programs, foster healthy relationships, and provide a supportive environment for children aged 5-12 years.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate an engaging program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, schools, community, and parents
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high-quality outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Enjoy working with kids and have strong communication skills
  • Be a team player with a desire to become a service leader
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check and state check for working with children
  • Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
  • Australian work rights

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of around AU$40,000 - AU$55,000 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience and qualifications.
