We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Fitter to join our team at Bravus Mining & Resources. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment fleet.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in open cut coal mining and possess a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or industry equivalent. High risk work licenses and Standard 11 and CBM certifications are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on ancillary equipment, including generators, lighting towers, light vehicles, and forklifts
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and rectify equipment issues
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
