We are seeking a talented Avionics Systems Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge avionics systems that impact people's lives around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to design, certify, and support the development of avionics/electrical modifications to aircraft through various technical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development, review, and approval of aircraft avionics/electrical system modifications
• Exercising Engineering Authority (EA) as a Design Engineer (DE) under NGA's Military Design Organisation Exposition
• Applying systems engineering processes across the product lifecycle
• Coordinating project management tasks during design development and installation phases
• Providing technical advice to stakeholders and representing the organization in various meetings
• Reviewing work of other engineers for technical accuracy and quality
• Investigating and communicating engineering compliance issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant engineering degree in Avionics, Electrical, or Mechatronics, or equivalent recognized by Engineers Australia
• Eligibility for registration with RPEQ
• Demonstrated experience as a professional engineer in the Defence/Aviation industry
• Working knowledge of configuration management and certification concepts
