Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily analysis of raw materials and finished products according to inspection plans within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain quality control programs, test plans and records and document quality issues and performance metrics.
  • Set up and maintain product specifications and inspection plans in SAP and collaborate with cross-functional departments to troubleshoot issues.
  • Validate, calibrate and maintain analytical equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Investigate out-of-specification results and support root cause analysis as well as corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in complaint investigations and help manage quality issues during production to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training and collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality and safety practices to ensure compliance and operational consistency.
  • Conduct environmental swabbing, coordinate sample submission and document/report test results.
  • Assist in the preparation for and participate in GMP audits.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards related to quality, food safety and workplace health and safety (WHS).
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related fields with at least 1 year of experience in quality control within food & beverage, ingredients, pharmaceuticals or similar industries.
  • Hands-on experience with basic laboratory instruments and data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP experience is an added advantage and training will be provided.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours as required.
