Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Facility Manager NSW/ACT. As a key leadership position, this individual will provide exceptional clinical and operational support, overseeing care and service delivery to residents across RSL LifeCare's facilities. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of facility operations, including governance elements, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents while operating within budget and meeting compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the profile of RSL LifeCare in the local area by building relationships with businesses and community groups.
  • Provide high-level operational and clinical support to designated homes within their remit.
  • Support and enable the development of the facility management team, identifying opportunities for growth and providing access to organisational resources.
  • Ensure readiness for accreditation, unannounced ACQSC Commission visits, and staff shortage circumstances.
About You

We are looking for an established leader with a track record in developing and leading clinical services within the Aged Care sector. The successful candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate qualification in Human Services, Nursing, Health Service Management, Business, or Social Sciences.
  • A minimum of 5 years' operational or administrative management experience, with a proven ability to lead change and sustain a high-performing team.
  • Diversity of thought and experience within healthcare, aged care, or other customer-focused sectors.
  • Sound financial acumen, with experience performing effectively against operational budgets and labour costs.
  • Experience managing operational compliance with complex regulatory requirements.
