About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our projects and infrastructure business. This role will work across the full lifecycle of projects, from initial tendering to project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key part in securing and delivering projects, as well as supporting the development of Project Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scoping, coordinating, and delivering projects from proposal through execution to close out, ensuring technical requirements are being fulfilled, as well as meeting scheduling, budgeting, and quality requirements.
  • Providing overall technical leadership on engineering aspect projects.
  • Leading and developing a team of Project Engineers to deliver successful project outcomes, while creating a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Managing the allocation, utilization, and performance of Project Engineers reporting to the role.
  • Supporting the development of Project Engineers reporting to the role.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors from the bidding phase through to project execution.
  • Unwavering commitment to delivering projects safely.

About You

To be selected for interview, your resume will need to share details of a tertiary qualification in either Civil or Electrical Engineering with end-to-end project delivery experience from a utilities, infrastructure, or construction industry.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of project engineering/design & construct methodologies.
  • Exceptional service delivery focus working across multidisciplinary projects from small to large scale.
  • Experience in delivering projects to the highest safety standards while also delivering expected quality, cost, and time outcomes.
  • Well-rounded communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop individuals and teams.
  • Experience with the delivery of Substation or Transmission Line projects is preferred but not essential.
