Big Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and delivering enterprise-wide data ingestion, integration, and pipeline solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about working with large datasets and has experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data architectures that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and other big data tools
  • Develop and maintain data integration solutions using APIs, ETL, and ELT techniques
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data products and visualizations
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance across all data assets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in big data engineering, architecture, or development
  • Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, and other big data tools
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization concepts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
