**Maintenance Technician Role Opportunity**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintain and repair school buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment for the school community.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Estimate repair costs and document repairs undertaken.
- Handle, store and distribute goods/materials.
- Move equipment/furniture as required.
- Upkeep school grounds.
- Assist with school improvements.
- Complete daily grounds maintenance reports.
- Train new employees in grounds keeping duties.
- Drive school vehicles as required.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in general maintenance of grounds/buildings.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general trade maintenance.
- Understanding of machinery/equipment operation relating to building maintenance.
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Trade background is desirable.
- Current driver's licence and use of own vehicle.
- Light Rigid (LR) vehicle licence is desirable.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check for paid employment.
- You may be required to provide an international police clearance.
