Primary Education Assistant

Foundation Christian College is seeking a dedicated and caring Primary Education Assistant to support our teaching team in delivering high-quality education to our Primary students.
Key Responsibilities- Support Classroom Teachers: Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging and effective lessons, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Student Support: Provide individual and group assistance to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Classroom Environment: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and success.
- Learning Support: Support the implementation of documented plans and other learning support strategies, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Preparation and Organisation: Prepare and organise learning materials, resources, and classroom displays, ensuring a well-structured and effective learning environment.
- Participation in School Events: Participate in school events, excursions, and extracurricular activities, contributing to the overall success of the College.
- Certificate III or IV in Education Support: Hold a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in education support principles.
- Experience Working with Primary-Aged Children: Have experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of their needs and abilities.
- Passion for Working with Children: Possess a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being and success.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and other staff members.
- Ability to Work Collaboratively: Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the overall success of the College.
- Current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check: Hold a current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one, demonstrating a commitment to the safety and well-being of students.
- Passionate about Living out Your Christian Faith: Be passionate about living out your Christian faith, demonstrating a commitment to the College's Christian values and ethos.
- Prepared to Model and Uphold the College's Ethos: Be prepared to model, uphold, and support the ethos of the College and its Core values, demonstrating a commitment to the College's mission and vision.
