Project Officer - Research Administration

This role is critical to the efficient operation of the centre and supports our wider community. You will receive broad direction from the RAIR Director and Program Manager, providing executive support in the implementation and operational management of the Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Program Manager in delivering the Centre's objectives.
  • Providing administrative assistance with tasks such as recruitment, event management, stakeholder engagement, diary coordination, and record keeping.
  • Fostering a productive and positive work environment, contributing to a welcoming office atmosphere.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in providing efficient support to a senior executive, with the ability to undertake multiple tasks with competing deadlines whilst exercising sound professional judgement.
  • Relevant experience in a complex organisation requiring communication and collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of research in an Australian higher education environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write communications for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan work activity, work under pressure and prioritise time and resources using established processes and technology to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
