Job Summary

Bechtel is seeking a highly skilled CSU Planner to join our team. As a CSU Planner, you will play a critical role in preparing schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations. You will apply established unit job hour and pricing data, perform schedule integrations, prepare work logic, identify restraints and potential impacts, develop recovery plans, and evaluate subcontractor schedules for improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage planning activities for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Startup (CSU) within a project, including Level 3 and Level 4 schedules.
  • Identify schedule trends for management attention and ensure schedule updates are completed in time to support project reporting requirements.
  • Support project organizational and administrative activities requested by the CSU Manager and CSU Engineer.
  • Chair schedule review meetings and present schedules to the Management team.
  • Provide coverage of planning into construction, overlapping with CSU, and analyze cost and schedule data to provide innovative solutions to project schedule challenges.
  • Set up and monitor CSU progress using established project guidelines and quantity reporting.
  • Provide supervisory coverage to other planners when required and set up CSU progress dashboards for progress tracking.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advance planning skills and knowledge in both Construction and CSU on LNG projects.
  • Prior construction and CSU field experience on LNG projects.
  • Advance MS Excel and Primavera P6 knowledge and skills.
  • Through understanding of QURR (Quantity and Unit Rate Report) and Process Flow Diagram, P&ID, Single Line diagram, Process description, and Process safety plan.
Additional Information

This position requires working in a dynamic environment with changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions. The successful candidate will be required to work at heights, use personal fall arrest equipment, and work in inclement weather. The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility, and this is a non-smoking site. Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices are not permitted on site.

This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
