We're looking for a highly skilled and creative Generalist to join our team at Flying Bark Productions. As an Immersive 3D Environment Look Developer, you'll be responsible for bringing our animation projects to life by crafting visually stunning environments and characters.

With a minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end feature film VFX and/or Animation, you'll have a deep understanding of rendering technologies like Arnold and similar renderers. You'll be proficient in software packages such as Katana and Nuke, with experience in Houdini being a plus.

Your expertise in Python and shaders will enable you to tackle complex problems and implement innovative solutions. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are essential, particularly in asset pipeline workflows. Familiarity with Shotgrid API and Toolkit is a bonus.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with other departments, such as modeling, surfacing, texturing, lighting, and compositing, to ensure seamless integration of assets into the production pipeline. You'll work under tight deadlines, taking initiative on RnD tasks, managing your time effectively, and communicating well with the departmental heads and team members.
