As a Capital Works Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of Retail Capital projects programs and the Retail Network Plan within a state/region.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Lead and manage a state/region-based Retail Capital projects program from inception to completion and handover to Business as Usual operations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of the CxT retail network plan and ensure alignment with the Network plan.
  • Collaborate with the Operations/leasing team to ensure leasing outcomes for the State/region are on budget and aligned with the Network plan.
  • Develop and implement strategies to procure resources to deliver Retail Capital projects program including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, and Principal Contractors.
  • Coordinate the external delivery teams for the projects including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Principal Contractors, and other specialist consultants.
  • Ensure timely preparation, coordination, and issuance of all state/region level weekly and monthly reports to Group Property.
  • Engage with senior business stakeholders, branch management, Architects, PMs, QSs, and other consultants to develop a Project Definition Plan for each branch and an overall state/region Program Definition Plan.
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal WBC stakeholders including IT, Security, Marketing, Leasing, OH&S etc.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by consistently being innovative and forward-thinking, and proactively planning for the future property-related needs.
