Job Title: Youth Disability Employment Mentor - Casual Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work with APM Futures, a leading provider of employment supports to NDIS participants. As a Youth Disability Employment Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with disabilities to develop their vocational identity and achieve their employment goals.

About the Role

As a casual Disability Employment Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualised employment supports to NDIS participants. This will involve:

  • Providing support and mentorship to participants to develop their skills and increase their capacity for work
  • Delivering person-centred supports to participants transitioning from school to work
  • Providing on-site support once employment has commenced and assisting with integration
  • Traveling as required for service delivery and support of participants
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Able to pass a NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Able to pass and complete an NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
