Our organisation is seeking a Personal Carer to provide exceptional support to residents in an Aged Care Facility. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom.

Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with residents' family members are essential aspects of this role. You will also be required to ensure that all patients take medications as directed by healthcare providers and respond promptly to any safety or medical issues.

To be successful in this position, you must possess strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good time management skills and flexibility.

This is a part-time or casual opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate from $32.00 per hour. Additional benefits include referral incentives and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including 10, 12, 8-hour shifts, afternoons, days, evenings, mornings, nights, on call and weekends.

**Responsibilities:**

• Assist residents with daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom

• Maintain accurate care records in accordance with organisational policy and procedures

• Communicate effectively with residents' family members as needed

• Ensure all patients take medications as directed by healthcare providers

• Respond promptly to any safety or medical issues

• Build rapport with residents through personal connections and show interest in their lives

**Required Qualifications and Skills:**

• Certificate III or IV in Individual (Aged Care) Support

• Police Check or willingness to undergo a police check

• Provide two contactable professional referees

• Strong work ethic

• Positive attitude

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good time management skills

• Flexibility
