We are a well-established company with over 30 years of experience in the production and supply of quality premixed concrete to customers in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne.

We are excited to share that we are expanding our team to meet demands for our growing business. We are looking for an experienced Truck Mechanic and Trade Assistant to join us in our Cranbourne Workshop who is keen to contribute to the continued growth of the company.

Job Summary

This is a great opportunity for a skilled heavy vehicle technician to join our team as a Diesel Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing repairs and maintenance of the Dandy fleet, including scheduled and priority repairs, preventative maintenance schedules, and annual roadworthy inspections.

The ideal candidate will have full Diesel Mechanic qualifications and a minimum of 3 years' experience, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults and defects in vehicles. They will also have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, service, and repair company vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair faults and defects in vehicles
  • Field servicing/breakdowns as required
  • Carry out tasks at the highest standard possible
  • Inspections and assessments on vehicles as required (including the completion of relevant documentation)
Requirements
  • Full Diesel Mechanic qualifications and a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Truck servicing ability
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehicles
  • The ability to follow direction and work autonomously
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit for heavy work
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
