We are seeking an innovative, client-focused Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with diverse communities and possess excellent problem-solving skills. A proactive approach to working within a dynamic team environment is essential.
- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy as a minimum qualification.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for registration.
- A current Victorian driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Australian working rights.
In this role, you will facilitate occupation-focused professional practice models relevant to participants' goals, promoting independence in the community wherever possible. You will achieve outcomes through assessment to intervention using compensatory and rehabilitative methods.
You will also educate individuals about the social model of disability and promote cultural responsiveness and safety.
