About Us

This is an Identified Position open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can build strong relationships with First Nations families, ensuring their voices are at the forefront. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working within the framework of Best Practice Guidelines in Early Intervention and have a deep understanding of child protection principles and Keep Them Safe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become a key point of contact for First Nations families, providing support and guidance to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Conduct observations of children in their natural environment to assess functioning and support needs.
  • Work collaboratively with families to establish meaningful goals for their child and family, and track progression toward goals.
  • Provide community connections and linkages to mainstream services to improve access to supports and social participation.
About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Aboriginality confirmed by a common seal and a reference from an Aboriginal organisation or community group.
  • A tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or Allied Health (desirable).
  • A valid Driver's Licence (P1 minimum).
  • A WWCC & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Full Australian working rights.
