Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage, design, and deliver cloud solutions on enterprise cloud platforms.

This role involves working closely with the engineering team and platform stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements and functional specifications. Key responsibilities include planning, leading, designing, developing, deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading & delivering ICT solutions across hybrid and commercial cloud, strong experience in network, security, storage and system engineering/solutions, and proficiency in multiple scripting and programming languages and knowledge of Cloud Frameworks.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in and understanding of scripting, programming and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.
  • Ensuring that cloud infrastructure complies with security standards and regulations, such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
  • Demonstrating interpersonal skills to foster and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
