We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Special Care Nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient care. They will be able to provide evidence-based, safe, and effective care to neonates, ensuring that all actions align with their professional scope and adhere to established clinical standards.

Job Description
  • Provide family-centred care to neonatal patients, ensuring that care is aligned with the philosophy, mission, and values of our organization.
  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and safe care to neonates, utilizing advanced skills and knowledge in respiratory support and resuscitation.
  • Uphold the policies and procedures of our organization, ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a safe, collaborative, and dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct patient care to neonates in our Special Care Nursery.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife.
  • Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Nursing with experience in a Level 3 Special Care Nursery or above.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
