Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join our team at the Caulfield Campus. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored educational programs that cater to the diverse and complex needs of individual learners.

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing highly aspirational initiatives in student learning, informed by the Victorian Curriculum. They will also possess the ability to design, deliver and assess programs that engage students with challenging behaviors and diverse learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver educational programs that meet the unique needs of each student
  • Implement evidence-informed instruction aligned to the MacKillop Education Instructional Model
  • Develop and deliver Individual Education and Safety Plans to support student success
  • Foster holistic wellbeing by supporting systems and processes that address learning, behavior, wellbeing and re-engagement using trauma-informed and restorative practices

Requirements:

  • A four-year teaching qualification or equivalent and eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience in implementing highly aspirational initiatives in student learning, informed by the Victorian Curriculum
  • Experience in the design, delivery and assessment of programs that cater for the diverse and complex needs of individual learners
