Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our Surgical Ward on a part-time basis, working 60 hours per fortnight. This role offers the chance to be part of a supportive leadership team committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to address patient care requirements.
- Administer medications as permitted by state regulations and organizational policies for endorsed Enrolled Nurses.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute surgical setting is required.
- Must hold current registration with AHPRA.
- Possess an Enrolled Nurse qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications.
- Advanced clinical skills are preferred.
- Adhere to ACQSHC National standards.
- Exhibit strong time management and organizational abilities to meet set objectives.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work on a rotating roster across 7 days is essential.
