Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Waiter to provide exceptional customer service and catering support for various events and meetings.
  • You will be the friendly face delivering outstanding food and beverage service, setting up and clearing meeting rooms, and managing in-house catering and waiter service.
  • Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the main kitchen, client rooms, and staff kitchenettes, as well as supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation and dishwashing as needed.
  • You will also monitor stock levels and ensure kitchenettes are well-stocked and organised, providing courteous and professional service at all times.
  • In addition, you will assist with after-hours meal service and reception coverage as required.

About You:

  • We are looking for someone with barista experience and certified in responsible service of alcohol (RSA).
  • Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in boardrooms or conference settings is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and strong client service skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of table setting protocols and silver service is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility to multitask, use initiative and adapt to changing priorities is key.
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer literacy is also required.
