Job Opportunity: Project Delivery Director

UGL is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Delivery Director to oversee project execution, safety, and compliance at a refinery in Western Australia. As the ideal candidate, you will possess strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

About the Role:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Provide effective leadership, mentoring, and management for all team members.
  • Project Delivery & Oversight: Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely delivery while managing budgets, resources, and adherence to technical standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Uphold a safe working environment by actively participating in safety meetings, inspections, and training, and ensuring all team members follow UGL's HSE policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring project goals are aligned with client expectations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, addressing potential risks related to schedule, cost, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Applied knowledge of Quality Systems (AS9001).
  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
