Financial Services Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team. This role will involve handling a wide range of tax matters, collaborating with stakeholders across the business, and working closely with experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare tax calculations for review by senior team members
- Work with the tax team to ensure timely lodgements and payments in line with the tax lodgement program
- Carry out reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues
- Test tax controls in accordance with our risk management framework
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Skills and Qualifications:- Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field
- Experience in a similar role within financial services, advising on Australian tax matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
