About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Catering Assistant to join our team at Blakeney Lodge. As a key member of our Catering team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and exceptional dining services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Assist with meal preparation, including food handling and kitchen duties.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
