Electrical Estimation Role

This is a challenging position for a skilled Electrical Estimator to join a dynamic team and play a critical role in estimating electrical costs for various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine electrical requirements
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, builders, and suppliers
  • Identify and propose more efficient electrical designs that provide better outcomes and cost savings to clients
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate bid submissions
  • Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities
  • Keep up with industry trends, pricing, and building codes

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial, industrial, and residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, materials, and construction methods
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to assess and recommend value-engineering solutions for cost efficiency and improved project outcomes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
