Full-Time Glass Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Time Glass Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation, fabrication, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess work sites for risks and develop safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Select and install suitable glass products, taking into account factors such as weight, size, and functionality.
  • Design and build frameworks for glass installations, ensuring stability and structural integrity.
  • Measure and fit new glass panels with precision and accuracy.
  • Seal glass effectively to prevent water ingress and maintain a watertight seal.
  • Operate cranes with suction cups to lift glass safely into place.
  • Maintain knowledge of plastic and laminate materials, applying treatments to enhance glass safety and strength.
  • Handle and process glass products, including coating, etching, and trimming as required.
  • Perform tasks such as hack outs and collaborate with supervisors to plan and manage orders, monitor progress, and recommend efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • A suitably qualified individual (relevant Cert IV qualification or 3 years of experience).
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in a production setting.

Essential Skills and Characteristics:

  • Competency across key tasks and responsibilities.
  • Able to caulk and seal glass effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and patience in stressful situations.
  • Valid driver's license and car ownership.
  • White card and safety orientation.
