Field Service Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Equipment team as a Field Service Technician. This exciting opportunity will involve the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region in support of a wider national network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage field service priorities and schedules to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and resourced service fleet vehicle at all times.
  • Coordinate and perform various mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment.
  • Establish and maintain relevant service-related information for effective decision making.
  • Provide product service training to clients as required to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Establish and maintain a customer base to ensure the continued growth and success of the service centre.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Able to work autonomously and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
  • Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License to operate company vehicles safely.
