Electrical Inspector Job Description

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team in Alice Springs, AUS. As an Electrical Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical installations and works within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the Electrical Safety Program to ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and JDFPG Policy and Procedures.
  • Conduct field inspections and compile investigation reports to identify and address technical deficiencies and issues.
  • Support the integration, coordination, and communication of technical information, recommendations, and advice relevant to facility electrical infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
  • Provide technical recommendations, input, direction, and advice on facilities system, infrastructure, and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance, and life-cycle management.
Requirements:
  • State Licensed Master Electrician
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical work
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Project management and planning skills
  • Configuration management and LOTO procedures
Security Clearance:

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance, applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance.
