Project Accountant Opportunity

The project accountant role is an integral part of our 12-week paid summer program. Our program serves as a key recruitment strategy for future graduate offers, providing a platform to gain hands-on experience and determine if this career direction is right for you.

As a project accountant, you will work in our established cost control team and be involved in:

  • Assisting cost controllers in monitoring project costs
  • Preparing monthly project forecasts and variance analysis
  • Processing sales invoices, preparing ad-hoc project financial reports, and writing procedures

This role forms part of our cost control team, which supports projects across departments. You will gain solid knowledge and exposure to preparing project cash flows, project financial reports/forecasts, and accounts payable.

About the Role

We are interested in applicants from courses related to accounting or finance. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Ideally be in your penultimate year of your degree
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Good verbal communication, interfacing, and writing skills
  • Curiosity and high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with numbers and numerical tasks
  • Good teamworking skills
