About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Liverpool. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting their independence and mobility.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia, and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements
  • You must be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is passionate about assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle are essential, as travel is a part of the role.
  • You should be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers and their families.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday is required, with no night or weekend work.
  • You should be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for support.
