Job Description

Amentum, a global leader in engineering, project management and solutions integration, is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join their team in Alice Springs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information systems security and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with security authorization packages and notify the ISSM of any changes that may affect the authorization determination.
  • Coordinate changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to the change.
  • Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctly.
  • Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to authorized individuals and collect, review, and document audit records, including any anomalies.
  • Attend required technical and security training relative to assigned duties.
  • Execute the cybersecurity portion of the self-inspection, including providing security coordination and reviewing all system assessment plans.
  • Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and assist with implementing countermeasures.
  • Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems.
  • Ensure compliance with site environmental health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • CISSP, Security +, or equivalent certifications.
  • MCSA or equivalent experience.
